THE POLAR BEARS & WILDLIFE OF CHURCHILL CANADA
Witness the Annual Migration of the Awe-Inspiring White Bear

DESCRIPTION:
This is your chance to come face-to-face with a polar bear, widely considered one of the most intriguing and awe-inspiring of all animals. Every fall, the tundra surrounding Churchill, on the west coast of Canada's Hudson Bay, becomes a stopover for more than one thousand bears on their annual migration. From the safety of our tundra vehicles we can view these majestic creatures within close range. While the polar bear is typically a solitary creature, this time of year they can be found in large numbers. You may encounter young bears mock fighting, or an adult male approaching within feet of us, even possibly lifting his massive paws on the side of the vehicle to peer in! Be among the very few to have viewed the exceptional sight of nighttime on the tundra — view the luminescent eyes of Arctic fox and the snowy owl, see the polar bears with special-effects lighting, and on clear nights, the northern lights may appear and brighten the entire sky. Please join us for this special opportunity.
CONSIDER:
view them from custom-built Polar Rovers. These are comfortable vehicles, with innovative mesh steel flooring on the outdoor observation platform, get you safely up close to the bears. Or, for the ultimate immersion in the kingdom of the polar bear
OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS & ADD-ONS:
Extra day in Winnipeg, a helicopter tundra adventure, and a northern wilderness sled dog adventure can be added.
